Thomas “Howard” Brown, of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, passed away on June 20, 2026 at the age of 88.

Howard was born on July 8, 1937 in Kindersley, Saskatchewan, to Mildred Esther Brown (neé Pollock) and Joseph William Brown; who immigrated to Canada from England in 1924.

He graduated from Bedford Road Collegiate in Saskatoon in 1956. During high school, Howard began working part-time for the local Co-op, and he continued his career with co-cops in Saskatoon, Wilkie, Kindersley, and Meadow Lake.

While living and working Meadow Lake, Howard formed lifelong friendships with Dan and Charlotte Friedrich and their children and families. He remained in close contact with them throughout the years. In 1993, Howard retired from Federated Co-op as a district accountant and made Meadow Lake his permanent home, where he resided ever since.

Howard is survived by his brother, Robert Charles Brown; four nieces and one nephew; and eight grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Mildred (1992) and Joseph (1991) Brown, and his brother, Dennis Edward Brown (2006).

A funeral service will be held on June 30, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Holy Trinity Church.
