Battlefords RCMP investigate fatal Highway 40 motorcycle crash

A 62-year-old man has died following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 40 near Battleford Saturday night.

Battlefords RCMP received a report of the crash around 5:15 p.m.

Investigation determined two motorcycles collided. EMS and local fire attended the scene. One rider was declared deceased en route to hospital. He has been identified as a 62-year-old male from North Battleford. His family has been notified.

The second rider was transported to hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening in nature. Neither rider had any passengers.
