Glenn Howard, Ferbey Four inducted into World Curling Hall of Fame
PERTH — Canadian curling greats Glenn Howard and Team Randy Ferbey are heading into the World Curling Hall of Fame, World Curling announced Thursday.
The 64-year-old Howard won gold in all four of his appearances at the world men’s championship, twice playing third for his brother, Russ, a 2015 Hall inductee, and twice as a skip.
His 25-year span between his first world title in 1987 and his last in 2012 is the longest in the history of the event.
The Edmonton-based Ferbey Four won four Brier championships in five years and three world titles during a dominant run in the early 2000s.
