Meadow Lake man charged after firearm damages homes, vehicles

A 21-year-old Meadow Lake man is facing charges after shots were fired at a home, damaging two residences and two vehicles. 

Meadow Lake RCMP said officers received a report of a discharged firearm toward a home on 8th Street West at about 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 4. 

Investigators determined the home, two vehicles, and a nearby residence were damaged. No injuries were reported. 

Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services were called to help search for a suspect. Police said a dog tracked a suspect and found a bag containing ammunition and a knife, which officers seized. However, the suspect was not located at that time.
