It is with heavy hearts the family of Celestine Margaret Urlacher announce her passing on Friday, October 16, 2026, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the age of 85 years.

Celestine is forever loved and remembered by her Children Calvin (Cailing Liang), Josephine (Darcy) Leiter, Jackie (George) Furneaux, Christine Urlacher, Jeannette Urlacher (Randy Gorman), Andrew Urlacher (Tracy Bercier), Barbara “Barbie” Urlacher (Robb Armstrong); Grandchildren Toni (Koda), Tessa (Damien), David (Samantha), Sydney (Kyle), Vincent (Hannah), Qiaozhen (Dong); Rudy (Amaya), Erich, Justine (Jess); Matthew (Kate), Danielle (Jamie); Candice (Colin), Nicholas (Carly); Dylan (Alysha), Jarrid, Craig, Erica; Cheyanne (Raymond), Rhett; Garret, and Avery; Great Grandchildren Mads, Mette, Jasmine, Aurora, Kadence, Lucas, Easton, Ava, Rylie, Colton, Hailey, Gracie, Carter, Violet, Junle, Ruth, Harper, Billie, Rosalie, Ari, Jaxon, Sawyer, Ember, Paige, Aubrey; Aiden, Brian, Thomas, Chevy, Iziah, Meaghan, Niveah, Fallon, and Jackson; Siblings Clara Degenhardt (Ed), Clem Schewalje, Marion George, John Schewalje, and Sylvia (Glen) Soloy; Sister-in-law Loraine Schewalje; As well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Celestine is predeceased by her Grandson Michael Urlacher; Parents Adolph and Mary Schewalje; Siblings Adeline (Anton) Urlacher, David Schewalje, and Daniel Schewalje; Brother-in-law Bob George; Paternal Grandparents Johannes and Anna Schewalje; Maternal Grandparents Andrew and Rose Bolig; God Mother Annie Degenhardt; As well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In keeping with Celestine’s wishes cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
