Moose Jaw photographer matches strangers for blind-date photo shoots
Forget dinner and a movie – these Saskatchewan strangers are starting their very first date in front of a camera.
It’s a trend that’s gaining attention on social media, and Thea Wilson, of Hidden Joy Photography in Moose Jaw, is giving it a shot in Saskatchewan, pairing up singles and bringing them on a blind-date couples photo shoot.
“I’m setting two strangers up that are also strangers to me, so it’s kind of fun for all of us and nerve-wracking, and I like the thrill of it,” Wilson said.
One of those matches was Reid Glennie and Kathleen Canfield, who stood back to back during the photo shoot before turning around and meeting for the very first time.
