Crezdon Butler returns to line up against Argos

After starting for half the season then sitting for four, defensive back Crezdon Butler returns to the lineup on Saturday.

For the first time as a Rider, he’ll fill in at safety with Matt Elam out with an injured hamstring.

‘Sky’s not falling:’ Riders working on offensive struggles

After Saturday’s game, offensive lineman Thaddeus Coleman said he wanted to practice red zone offence nonstop until the team figured it out.

Quite simply, he was sick of not scoring touchdowns.

Riders’ Johnson supports teammates even from the sidelines

Even when it’s from the bench Jovon Johnson gives the Roughriders his all.

The 12-year CFL veteran has found himself on the sidelines of the last two Roughriders games as head coach Chris Jones opted to rest some of his older defensive backs and try out other players in their place.

A 40-27 win against Calgary had the Roughriders dancing

There was a whole lot of dancing going on in the Roughriders locker room Sunday night.

After a 40-27 win over the Calgary Stampeders there was certainly no shortage of things to celebrate.

They sacked Bo Levi Mitchell five times.

Samuel Eguavoen blocked a punt.

Even with Zach Collaros back in the picture, Roughriders head coach Chris Jones doesn’t seem to want to commit to a starting quarterback.

Collaros hid preseason injury from Riders staff

The struggling Riders offence is getting a bit of a boost.

Quarterback Zach Collaros was taken off the six-game injured list a few weeks earlier than expected, after being sidelined with a concussion in the second week of the season.

Brooks fitting in just fine on Riders defensive line

Back in June when the Roughriders signed Mic’hael Brooks, many wondered why the team needed another defensive lineman.

Already stacked with stars like Willie Jefferson, Charleston Hughes and Zack Evans, it didn’t exactly appear necessary, but for Jones it was a no-brainer.
