Annette’s greatest accomplishments was when she became mother to 3 handsome sons, her marriage to Pierre Marie, and the accumulation of 7 stepchildren and 3 adopted children. Annette was surrounded by a large and loving family. She adored her grandchildren, great
grandchildren and she loved unconditionally. Annette was known to many as a traditional knowledge keeper and story teller. She was a great cook and lived off the land and taught everyone her skills through video and Elder Story Publishings. She served her home of Buffalo River Dene Nation as the Community Health Representative (CHR), one of the first to be educated in that area.Annette will be lovingly remembered as the matriarch of her family as we celebrate her journey into the spiritworld.
