Eleanor Ann Norris was born on June 26, 1943 in Meadow Lake, SK.
Ellen passed away peacefully on August 25, 2017 at Bastion Place in
Salmon Arm, BC after a lengthy battle with cancer. She is survived by
her daughter, Christine (Sam) Blacklock, her three grandchildren,
Trinity, Mathew and Jasmine Blacklock and her daughter-in law Susan
Sinotte. She is also survived by her siblings Albert (Marge) Norris,
Pauline Norris and Clarence (Laura) Norris, sister-in-law Hertha Norris
and several nieces and nephews. Ellen was predeceased by her parents
John & Dagmar Norris, brothers Edwin and John, sister Caroline and by
her son Vaughn Sinotte. Ellen worked as a Payroll Clerk for the City of
Salmon Arm for over twenty years. She cherished her friends in the
community and the time she spent playing music and dancing. Please
join her family for a graveside service on Saturday, September 23, 2017
at 2:00 pm at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Meadow Lake with lunch to
follow at the Lutheran Church hall, 416 – 2nd Street West, Meadow Lake.
