It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Gertrude Jane Hodgson. Gertie was born January 25, 1930 in Silver Grove, Saskatchewan and passed away on Monday June 9, 2025 at the age of 95 in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. Gertie loved dogs, cats, sewing, watching the Price Is Right (especially the Bob Barker era), climbing up ladders when she wasn’t supposed to, gardening and her dog Rufus.

Gertie is survived by her two sons Wayne (Niska) and William (Tina), sisters Doreen Egeland and Gladys Karpan, grandchildren Julia and Luke Hodgson, as well as her much loved nieces and nephews.

Gertie is predeceased by her parents Victor and Maude Hodgson and siblings Amelia, Herb, Robert, Gerry, Pat, Harold and Cliff.
