Glen had 10 grandchildren: Anthony (Bridget), Dylan, Troy, Shalaine, Bryce, Aidon, Brooke, Sydni, Deshon and Drey. He had 2 great grandchildren, Carter and Aliviah.
Glen lived the majority of his life in Green Lake, Sask and Prince George, BC. He worked hard all his life, primarily for the City of Prince George and then for the mining industry in Northern Saskatchewan. Dad was fiercely independent and loved his routine of morning coffee with his buddies, going to “town”, making fires in the winter, going to different casinos, playing solitaire on his (very old) computer and visiting with his children and grandchildren in Prince Albert. He enjoyed watching sports and rarely missed his son and grandson’s hockey games. In fact, he just came back from an All Native Fastball tournament in Prince George where he spent the weekend watching ball and catching up with old friends. Dad loved Tewana’s dogs, Prancer, Max and Boyle and spoiled them rotten. He was an amazing husband and father and always made sure his children were taken of. He was the best grandpa and always doted on and spoiled his grandchildren. Dad had so many friends that were an important part of his life as they provided him with companionship and we are forever grateful to them for always watching out for dad. Although dad was taken from us way too soon, there is comfort knowing that he is with Mom in Heaven and walking on two legs again. There will be a 2 day wake starting Tuesday followed by a Funeral service on Thursday September 1st, 2016 at 11am at the Green Lake Community Hall in Green Lake, SK. There will be an internment at Green Lake Cemetery and lunch will be served afterwards.
Arrangements are in care of MARTENS WARMAN FUNERAL HOME (306-934-4888).
