Graeme Merle Bennett passed away on the morning of March 16th, 2025, entering into the presence of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Left to grieve his earthly departure are his wife Donna; his children, Ronnie (Andrea), and their children: Audrey, Wade, Emma and Russell, Andrew (Kirsten), and Dwight (Jenna); as well as his siblings, Albin, Elouise, Kathleen, Austin, Wendell and Gladys.
Graeme was born on May 7th, 1953. He was the youngest of nine children to his parents Reginald and Irma in Compass, SK. Graeme loved the farm. His dad made a full-size hockey rink in the yard and thus began Graeme’s hockey career. Graeme played junior hockey until an injury caused him to change gears and go to Bible school. After his time there, Graeme moved to Winnipeg and ended up meeting the love of his life. Graeme was a brick-layer for his career and was beloved by many of his coworkers. Graeme eventually retired and spent his last years spending time with his family and in his garden.
He is previously deceased by his parents and his siblings, Arleigh and Esther.
Graeme loved the Lord above all else, but his family was his greatest treasure. Graeme is now forever with Jesus in Heaven, no longer feeling pain.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Eastview Community Church, 315 Maxwell King Drive, East St. Paul, MB.
