Leo John Thibault was born December 13. 1938 to Soloman and Laura Thibault. He was the youngest of twelve children. Leo sawed lumber with his dad at his dad’s sawmill in his younger days. He bought land in the Iron Springs district and began ranching. On June 17, 1965 he married Kay Schwehr. Together they farmed and ranched in the Iron Springs area for 50 years. During this time, on March 13, 1970 a beautiful baby girl was born to them. They named her Lynne. Two years later, on February 26, 1972 along came their sweet baby boy, Clint. Kay & Leo retired from ranching in 2010, built a new house and moved to the village of Loon Lake. Since moving to town his main job was getting wood and spending time with those he loved. Leo will be deeply missed by his wife Kay (of 57 years), his daughter Lynne
(Richard), his son Clint (Crystal), his five grandkids Amber, Melaina, Melissa, Derek and Haylee and 2 great grandsons Neeko and Dace; his brother Lawrence (Diane) as well as countless nieces & nephews and many friends. Leo was predeceased by his parents, Soloman & Laura, his five brothers Aurel, Fidel, August, Orval, & George as well as his five sisters Eva, Blanche, Annette, Theresa, & Germaine.
