Leona (Howard) Culbert

Born September 29, 1925 in Marshall County, Minnesota. Leona came to Saskatchewan at the age of 4 years old, then took on a Homestead with her parents Lawrence and Minnie Howard in the Blueberry District Southeast of Makwa.
Lorna married Thomas Culbert in 1944 and raised six children in Makwa/Meadow Lake, Makwa was always home to leona.
Leona is predeceased by Tom in 1997, Son Vernon 2002,Daughter-in-law Glenda 2009 and Son-in-law Ed in 2021.
Leona leaves her love and memories to her children, Jean, Caroline, Lloyd (Nancy), Sally, Arnold and Mary-Jane (Kevin). 8 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grand Children and 1 Great Great Grandson.
Celebration of Life will follow in the spring of 2026 at Makwa.
