Mildred Agnes “Millie” Morin, of Meadow Lake, passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 87. Millie was born at home on August 8, 1939 and made Meadow Lake her home throughout her life.
Millie was a friendly and outgoing person who genuinely enjoyed being around people. She loved to visit and could always find someone to talk to. In her retirement years, she especially enjoyed going out for coffee with her husband, where they would often meet up with friends and familiar faces for a visit.
Family was at the heart of Millie’s life. She loved family meals and the time spent gathered around the table. She treasured time with her family and had an especially soft spot for her grandchildren, who brought her great joy.
Millie was also an avid reader and enjoyed keeping her mind busy with Sudoku, crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles.
Millie is lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Harold Morin; her children, Bradley Morin, Cheryl Morin (Marv), and Rochelle (Chris) Warren; her grandchildren, Tracy (Kory) Stene, Trista Sippola (Brad), Tanelle Sippola (Sam), Mitchell Anderson (Jordan), Cassia (Mason) Link, and Kade Anderson (Jenna); her great-grandchildren, Brennan, Ryan and Emily Stene, and Kairos Sippola-Willis; her sister, Luella (Henry) Enns; her sister-in-laws Ruby Friesen, Patricia Charles and Elsie (Brian) Minto; her brother-in-law Doug (Barb) Morin as well as her many nieces and nephews.
Millie was predeceased by her infant daughter, Michelle; her parents, Peter and Susan Friesen; her parents-in-law, Jules and Virginia Morin; her son-in-law, Lester Pellack; her brother, Alvin Friesen; and her nephew, Peter Friesen; her sister-in-laws Margaret McBride and Doreen Laliberte and her brother-in-laws Roger, Richard and Tony Morin.
