It is with sadness the family of Verna Sangrey-Penner announce her passing on Sunday, December 14, 2025, in the Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the age of 63 years.

Verna is forever loved and remembered by her Husband Steve Larson; Children: Stephanie (Ryan), Gordie, Emerie, Meagan (Cody), Thor, and Shaneesa (John); Grandchildren Braxton, Ethan, Dylan, Mayanna, Easton, Lyric, Rebel, Scarlett, Rosie, Trystyen, Kaylin, Kira, Jace, and Declan; Siblings Helene, Bonita (Jim), Donna (Dwayne), Eunice, Mario, Heather (Terry), Anita (Dwayne), Blake (Chantel), Leanne (Fabian), Ashford (Loretta), and Ashley; Siblings-in-law Frank, John, Eddie, Fred, Norman, Richard (Bonnie), Jeannette (Steve), and Esther; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

She is predeceased by her Children Baby Boy Penner and Nikita Sangrey; Parents Matilda Sangrey and Harry Penner; Parents-in-law George and Emma Larson; Siblings-in-law: Clayton, Harry Sr., Gordy, Shirley (Joe), Elaine, Raymond and Ken.

A public visitation will be held at Marshall’s Funeral Home on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. CST.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. CST on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Parish Centre, St.Walburg, SK.

If so desired donations in memory Verna may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
