Saskatchewan NDP want former minister McMorris to resign
The NDP opposition is calling for Don McMorris to resign.
The Indian Head-Milestone MLA and former deputy premier pleaded guilty to drinking and driving last week.
“I wish Mr. McMorris well and good health but he certainly should not be sitting as an MLA,” NDP interim leader Trent Wotherspoon argued.
McMorris was more than double the legal limit and was the minister of Saskatchewan Government Insurance and Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority at the time.
