A search is underway for a missing youth in Makwa Lake.
RCMP spokesperson Jessica Cantos told meadowlakeNOW, officers received a report of a missing male youth just before 7 p.m. on June 23.
“We are asking the public in that area to avoid the southeast area of the lake,” she said. “We have numerous search teams who are continuing the search early this morning.”
An RCMP Underwater Recovery Team is on route to assist detachment members.
