La Loche RCMP investigating break and enter, damage to new housing units

During the overnight hours on July 25 and 26, unknown persons broke into several brand new housing units which were still under construction on Marie Street in La Loche.
The suspects caused major damage to several of the units including broken windows, smashed drywall, and smashed toilets. Although the construction company has not yet been able to provide an exact dollar amount, the damages are believed to be in the tens of thousands of dollars.
