Stolen Meadow Lake van possibly involved in collision with pedestrian
Meadow Lake RCMP are asking for public assistance in locating a white minivan that hit a pedestrian.
Police responded to a call regarding the incident at 5:30 a.m. this morning, where a man in Meadow Lake was walking westbound on Fourth Ave. W. and was struck by the vehicle driving through the intersection of Sixth St. W. The vehicle was driven by a male, had a female passenger and accelerated away from the scene immediately. The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Officers investigating the incident are trying to locate a van that fits the description of minivan involved. It’s a white 2017 Chrysler Pacifica with a personalized Saskatchewan licence plate that reads CARA. This was stolen sometime overnight.
