Here’s what’s open and closed in Meadow Lake for New Year’s

It’s coming on New Year’s Day and in Meadow Lake, schedules are adjusting to prepare for the weekend.

Here are some things that are open and closed this festive weekend:

1: Meadow Lake Aquatic Centre: Closes at 3 p.m., on Dec. 30 and closed on Jan. 1

2: Westview Outdoor Rink: staffing hours for Dec. 30: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Dec. 31: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed on Jan. 1

3: City Hall: closed on New Year’s Day.

On the party scene, Rapid View Hall is hosting a New Year’s Bash for 200 people. Doors will open at 8:30 p.m., and tickets, which will be free for those five and under, tickets will be $10 for children aged six to 12 and $20 for those 13 and up.
