Woman charged with aggravated assault after man injured on Onion Lake Cree Nation

RCMP have charged a woman with assault after a man was injured on Onion Lake Cree Nation.

On July 28, Onion Lake RCMP received a report of an injured man who was transported by EMS from a residence to hospital. Further investigation determined his injuries were suspicious and believed to be serious.

The Saskatchewan RCMP’s Battlefords Serious Crimes Unit (SCU) took carriage of the investigation and determined an altercation occurred at the residence and the man was injured.

Battlefords SCU and North Battleford Forensic Identification Services searched the home and recovered evidence.
