Lloydminster man charged after drugs and two firearms seized

A Lloydminster man is facing four charges after officers seized cocaine, methamphetamine and two firearms from a residence.

The Lloydminster Saskatchewan Trafficking and Response Team executed a search warrant at the home on Sept. 9 as part of an ongoing drug-trafficking investigation.

Police said officers found about 41 grams of cocaine, 19 grams of methamphetamine, two firearms, ammunition and drug-trafficking paraphernalia.

Brett Zilliges, 49, of Lloydminster was arrested at the residence. He is charged with possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possessing methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possessing a firearm knowing its possession was unauthorized and careless use of a firearm.
