Be Water Wise

It’s summer! Time to hit the pool or your nearest beach, right?
Of course! But before you dive in, the Canadian Red Cross wants to test your knowledge of water safety to make sure you and your family will always be safe in and around water.
According to drowning statistics (2009-2013), over 2,300 children, youths and adults lost their lives in Canadian waters.
The Red Cross wants to prevent future tragedies like these from occurring by equipping Canadians with practical water safety knowledge and encouraging the use of lifejackets and Personal Floatation Devices.
You can help make this summer a safe one for you and your family by learning more about water safety.
We hope you have a splash this summer!
