Weather warnings first started on Thursday when Environment Canada issued winter storm warnings and snowfall warnings in most of the north.

The warnings stayed in place all day Friday before finally being lifted through the day Saturday.

According to Melsness, warmer, more spring-like conditions are expected to return to the province later in the week.

No word on if any snowfall records were broken.
