Man picked up by garbage truck in Regina will be OK

Sep 6, 2016 | 8:02 AM

The garbage truck picked up a man along with the trash during a stop in the Uplands neighbourhood in Regina.

During the pickup on Ross Avenue East on Monday, a person in the area started flagging down the truck driver because a man was on top of the garbage truck.

A 44-year-old man was apparently inside the dumpster and got tossed into the truck. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Police will not lay any charges.
