Shellbrook RCMP requesting assistance to locate missing girl

UPDATE: As of 8:16 a.m., August 15, 2019 Shellbrook RCMP have confirmed Chayna Arcand has been located safe.

The Shellbrook RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in finding 13-year-old Chayna Arcand.

Arcand was last seen around 5 p.m. on Aug. 13, 2019 hitchhiking near Green Lake, Sask., when she left her home on foot heading north close to Canwood, Sask. She was wearing black basketball shorts, a grey hoodie, a yellow and black coloured backpack, and black and green checkered running shoes.

Arcand is approximately 5’5, 135 lbs with dark brown hair and brown eyes, according to a press release from Shellbrook RCMP.
