Twenty-one new cases, 4 more recoveries from COVID-19 in the province
There are 21 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Saturday, Sept. 12 bringing the total to 1,709 reported cases. Of the new cases, 14 are from the Central East zone, while Saskatoon accounts for five and South West has two new cases.
There are now 83 active cases, 1,709 total cases, and 1,602 recoveries.
Two people are in hospital receiving inpatient care in Saskatoon.
Investigations completed thus far have found that 15 of the 21 new cases reported today and 33 of the 83 current active cases are from communal living settings.
