Sep 14, 2021 | 12:47 AM

Rising artist Kira Lynn stands out by staying true to herself and writing exactly what she feels. Time and time again, Kira shows that she isn’t afraid to step outside the box to follow her dreams. She intertwines catchy pop melodies with elements of country and soul to make a unique and powerful sound. It is easy to tell that Kira is truly one of a kind when you listen to her voice and the different stylistic choices she makes throughout her music.

This heartfelt singer-songwriter was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, where she grew up on the stage dancing competitively, as well as taking part in musical theatre, singing, piano, guitar.  In 2010, Kira released her first album which was written all on her own. She returned two years later with Something Like Love while studying music at Alberta’s MacEwan University. She later returned to MacEwan to study public relations, graduating in 2015.

After being referred by Irving Azoff’s office (Front Line Management), Kira relocated to Nashville to pursue her passions.  Living in Nashville has introduced incredible opportunities for her and her music.

Kira’s singles I Won’t Let You Go, written with the late great songwriter, Ralph Murphy, and Falling For You caught fire at country radio while heralding a vibrant and fast-rising performer on the contemporary scene.

“I am melody-driven. That’s been a big takeaway from co-writes I’ve done,” Kira says when asked to characterize her songwriting style. “But I’ve also kept a journal since I was little, always having stories to tell. Co-writers help me condense my stories while allowing me to pursue my melodies.”
