The 2021 CurlSask Curling Club Championships replay wrapped up in North Battleford yesterday with the winners earning a chance to represent their province in the nation’s capital at the end of the month.

The replay event, which ran from Oct. 29–Nov. 1 at the Northland Power Curling Centre, featured participants’ prequalified from 2020 play downs that were postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The men’s winner was Team Grindheim, who curl out of the Sutherland Curling Club in Saskatoon, while Team Robson was the women’s winner who are based out of Moose Jaw. Admission was free, but all entrants to the facility had to show proof of vaccination and wear a mask.

Both winning teams are now bound for Ottawa, where they will compete in the national championship. That tournament runs from Nov. 28–Dec. 4.
