Oysters recalled for possible salmonella contamination, CFIA says

OTTAWA — Future Seafoods Inc. is recalling Malpeque Oysters brand oysters due to possible salmonella contamination.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says consumers should not eat the recalled oysters.

Distributors, retailers and food service establishments such as hotels and restaurants are being advised not to sell or use the recalled product.

The affected oysters were supplied in 25-count packages with a harvest/process date of 09/10/18 and a harvest location of PE9B.
