RCMP seek public’s help after two injured in Waterhen First Nation shooting

Two people were hospitalised after an early morning shooting on Waterhen Lake First Nation.
Meadow Lake RCMP said officers responded to the report at about 3 a.m. on June 13 and located the injured adults, who were taken to hospital by local EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.
“If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, we will notify the public,” the RCMP stated.
Anyone with information or video surveillance of suspicious activity on Waterhen Lake First Nation on June 13 is asked to contact RCMP by calling 310-RCMP or submit information anonymously through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.saskcrimestoppers.com.
