Huang, Henderson chase big finale at LPGA’s CPKC Women’s Open in Edmonton
EDMONTON — Anna Huang did more than make the cut at the CPKC Women’s Open for the first time in her career.
The 17-year-old from Vancouver was the top Canadian heading into Saturday’s third round of the LPGA tournament in Edmonton.
Huang posted a second-round 68 on Friday to get to 7-under par and into a tie for seventh.
“Going into this week, making the cut was my biggest goal,” Huang said. “So now that I’ve got that down, I’m just going to try to chase up the leaderboard this weekend.”
