Sask. Marshals have arrested over 100 fugitives in P.A. this year
The Saskatchewan Marshals Service (SMS) is continuing to execute warrants and put away fugitives in the Prince Albert area.
That’s according to members of the SMS who shared some updated stats in front of the Prince Albert Police Commission at their monthly board meeting at City Hall on Tuesday.
Noting one person may have several warrants to their name, Deputy Chief Marshal Richard Lowen said that their 28 officers in the area have executed “over 199 warrants” in the P.A. region and have arrested 121 people in 2026 so far, including a man who was wanted on first degree murder charges in the Maritimes.
Chief Marshal Rob Cameron echoed Lowen and said the arrests wouldn’t be possible if local police services operated individually.
