Lloydminster could be next in line for urgent care centre, Sask. premier says
Lloydminster could be the next community added to Saskatchewan’s urgent-care plans as the province seeks to ease pressure on the city’s hospital emergency room.
Premier Scott Moe raised the possibility while speaking with reporters during the Lloydminster Heavy Oil Show Thursday, when he was asked about the future of Lloydminster Hospital and the prospect of building a new one.
He did not commit to a new hospital, instead pointing to an urgent care centre as one possible investment.
