Knight-Lebel replaces Jones on Canada’s roster for upcoming friendlies

Jamie Knight-Lebel will join Canada’s men’s soccer team for a series of upcoming friendlies.
Canada Soccer announced Monday that the 21-year-old Motherwell defender will replace injured Middlesborough centre back Alfie Jones.
Canada head coach Jesse Marsch said when he announced his 26-player roster last week that he had just learned Jones had been hurt while playing for his club.
Knight-Lebel was born in Montreal but grew up in Bristol, United Kingdom. He is on loan to Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership from English Championship club Bristol City.
