N.S. minor hockey player accused of sexual assault pleads guilty to three charges
TRURO — The second of two Nova Scotia minor hockey players accused of sexually assaulting teammates during a sleepover last fall has pleaded guilty to three charges.
The boy, who was 14 at the time of the offences, originally pleaded not guilty in May to one count of sexual assault with a weapon and two counts of sexual assault against three different victims.
The victims, all 13 at the time, were rookies on an under-15 hockey team in Colchester County, northeast of Halifax.
During a hearing Monday in Truro, N.S., a youth court was told the weapon used against one victim was a mini hockey stick.
