What’s it like being a contact tracer?
It’s a good thing Nancy Kot likes to talk on the phone.
The public health nurse says she now makes somewhere between five and 20 calls a day working as a viral investigator.
“We are trying to search and find out people who may have come in contact with COVID-19,” Kot explained.
As a viral investigator for the Saskatchewan Health Authority — better known as a contact tracer — it’s Kot’s job to identify people who may have been exposed to the virus to help limit future outbreaks.
