Chris Fahlman denied bail review, will stay behind bars
On Thursday, the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal announced the bail review application for Chris Fahlman had been dismissed.
He put in an application to challenge the denial of his bail earlier this month. The reasons for the decision are covered by a publication ban, as are the arguments made during the bail hearing.
A preliminary hearing for Fahlman has been set for October.
Fahlman is charged with second-degree murder and intentionally discharging a firearm while being reckless as to the life or safety of another person, in the death of Tanya Myers.
